Welcome to The Green Room — where the heart of creativity meets the soul of community!
We’re Phil and Heather Joel, the co-owners of this little gem nestled in the heart of downtown Franklin, Tennessee. With a combined background in music (thanks, Phil!) television & theatre (Heather’s got that covered!), we’ve spent our fair share in green rooms surrounded by music, art and creativity! But two years ago, we traded in our backstage passes for the exciting adventure of opening The Green Room (get the double meaning??!) — a home and gifts store that’s as unique as the community we love.
As locals to Franklin for 30 years, we’ve always had a deep love for this beautiful little town, and opening our store was a creative way of further deepening our roots in this place that’s given us so much. We may not have had retail experience when we started, but after two years, we’ve certainly had a crash course and are loving every minute of this new adventure!
At The Green Room, we believe in the power of shopping consciously. Because we’re not just here to create a beautiful space—we’re here to support our planet and our community. It’s all about finding joy in things that are good for both people and the world around us.
